Evening Paint & Sip Workshop Chippenham

Service Description

Join me, Charlotte Englefield at my charming studio in the hamlet of Long Dean, near Chippenham and Bath for an Evening Paint & Sip. A relaxed art workshop where you can learn or develop the process of painting with acrylics. Take some much-needed time out to enjoy an evening of creative fun. The aim of the workshop is to learn basic techniques of applying paints using good quality paints, brushes and if you choose, palette knives, to build up layers and textures (or the illusion of textures) onto the surface of the canvas. This is an opportunity to have the freedom to experiment and explore this method of paint application without the need to create perfectly. In the three hour workshop, we will be applying these techniques to create unique paintings on a small canvas. All painting supplies and materials are included in the workshop. Soft drinks and refreshments are provided, but feel free to bring a bottle or two of your favourite tipple to enjoy during your creative evening. SOME PRACTICAL INFORMATION PLEASE NOTE THAT ALTHOUGH THERE IS PARKING IT IS FAIRLY LIMITED. IF YOU KNOW SOMEONE ELSE ATTENDING THE WORKSHOP AND IF PRACTICAL, THEN PLEASE CONSIDER SHARING A LIFT. THERE IS ALSO FURTHER PARKING ON THE LANE A SHORT WALK AWAY. APRONS WIL BE PROVIDED HOWEVER IT IS ADVISABLE TO WEAR OLD SHOES AND CLOTHING AS THE STUDIO IS BASED ON A FARM AND THE TRACK CAN BECOME MUDDY.
