Join the artist Charlotte Englefield for a painting workshop at Welford Park, for a relaxed and inspiring time filled with creativity and exploration. In this informal four hour session, you will be learning the basics of painting techniques, including using paint brushes to build layers, textures, and the illusion of depth on your canvas. This workshop is all about experimenting and enjoying the process, with no pressure to create something “perfect.” Using these techniques, you’ll create your own unique small canvas painting, inspired by the beauty of the blossom and the tranquil surroundings of the Welford Park Orchard. Whether you’re a beginner or simply looking for a creative escape, this workshop is the perfect way to celebrate the season! Everything you need to create your own unique piece of artwork will be provided. SOME PRACTICAL INFORMATION APRONS WIL BE PROVIDED, HOWEVER IT IS ADVISABLE TO WEAR OLD SHOES AND CLOTHING AS WELL AS PLENTY OF LAYERS. OUR PAINTING SESSION WILL TAKE PLACE UNDER THE SHELTER OF A MARQUEE, WITHIN THE ESTATES PICTURESQUE APPLE ORCHARD. LUNCH AND REFRESHMENTS WILL BE PROVIDED BY WELFORD PARK.
