Join me at my beautiful studio in the picturesque hamlet of Long Dean near Castle Combe for this Two Day Large-Scale Seascape Painting Workshop. An informal and relaxed couple of days of creative fun and exploration in the art of acrylics. This two-day painting experience is designed to give you the freedom, support, and inspiration to explore your creativity on a large canvas, in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Whether you are a beginner or returning to painting after a break, you’ll have time and guidance to experiment, learn, and enjoy the process. Over two consecutive days, you’ll: • Work on a large canvas, using acrylic paints and palette knives • Explore texture, colour, and expressive mark-making • Receive guided support while developing your own style • Take home a completed piece of artwork, ready to display ⸻ All painting supplies and materials are included. As well as a 30" x 30" or approximately a 24" x 36" rectangle, high quality, deep edge canvas which following the workshop is ready to hang. Tea, coffee, and light refreshments are included and of course cake!! Participants are encouraged to bring a packed lunch for full-day sessions. THIS IS A TWO DAY COURSE. PAYMENT COVERS BOTH FRIDAY AND SATURDAY SESSIONS 10:00 - 16:00 ON BOTH DAYS 6 HRS EACH DAY 12 HOURS IN TOTAL SOME PRACTICAL INFORMATION PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A WORKING FARM AND ALTHOUGH THERE IS PARKING IT IS FAIRLY LIMITED. IF YOU KNOW SOMEONE ELSE ATTENDING THE WORKSHOP AND IF PRACTICAL, THEN PLEASE CONSIDER SHARING A LIFT. THERE IS ALSO FURTHER PARKING ON THE LANE A SHORT WALK AWAY. APRONS WIL BE PROVIDED HOWEVER IT IS ADVISABLE TO WEAR OLD SHOES AND CLOTHING AS THE STUDIO IS BASED ON A FARM AND THE TRACK CAN BECOME MUDDY. Payment A deposit is required to secure your place on this course. The remaining balance is due 7 days before the course begins. Your place is reserved once the deposit has been paid.
